Dev Deepawali has been being celebrated on the occasion of Kartik Poornima in Biharharif since 2014. with the reflection of thousands of burning and enlightened lamps and deeps at the stairs of Dhaneshwar Ghat pond on the pattern of Banaras and Kashi.
Today in the evening, many small lamps were found on the stairs of the holy pond situated in the Dhaneshwar Ghat temple complex. And in Bihar Sharif on the lines of Benaras, thousands of people had come near the pond for eying over the stepping in of the gods nearby the pond.People have considered the devotional celebration of Dev Diwali, a grand event that contains many beautiful lamps, witnessing the purity and purity.
And the virtue of Dev Deepawali is full of mythology. Raising the life of Demon Tripurasur, who harassed everyone, by Lord Shankar, was done on prayer, which led to the celebration of Diwali by the gods and goddesses. This victory over evil forces was recognized as Dev Diwali in the family of gods. We usually celebrate Deepawali on the night of Kartik Amavas, then Deepawali by Dev is celebrated on the night of Kartik Purnamasi. Deep is supposed to be the symbol of joy, light, holiness, knowledge and purity from which darkness and ignorance are distracted and our life remains full of light.
According to this tradition, Lord Vishnu is worshiped by some deities by lighting the numerous lamps in the feet of Kashi, and thereafter Dev Diwali is organized.
For the last five years, the Dhaneshwar Ghat Mohalla Dev Deepavali Organizing Committee has been making meaningful efforts to revive the ira mythological tradition in the temple complex pond. In the event of Dev Deepavali in which thousands of people gather, donating thousand lamps, worshiping the symbolic water sources, such as the ponds and lakes. And keep on giving the message that water is life and we should keep doing our best to keep the water bodies clean and clean.
