the 7th International Day of Yoga

This is to notify to all the students that the 7th International Day of yoga ( IDY)will be celebrated on 21st June, 2021.Due to the pandemic situation, it will be celebrated virtually : 
Following online events will be organized to celebrate the 
*IDY 2021 : 
1.Online Quiz Competition on Yoga 🧘‍♂️ ( for class VI-VIII)
Time : 5 pm.to 6 pm.
Questions for online Quiz Competition will be prepared by 
a. Mr. Vyas Nandan
b. Mr. Madhup Raman 
           & 
c. Mr. Sarvesh
2. Online Yoga workshops for parents, teachers & students
( under the guidance of PETs ,
Mr. S. K. Upadhayay 
          & 
Mr. S. K.Mondol ( Open to all)
3. Poster Competition.
Theme : International Yoga Day. 
Draft  it on chart paper and  send the  video clip while doing as well as snap to ccadavpowergrid@gmail.com 
The winners of this competition will get certificate and accolation as our prior practice.

SOP for Yoga Day Celebration-2021

It is notified to all that the school is going to observe IYD on 21st June,2021.
As generic preventive measures, the guidelines inter-alia provide ;
The programme will be inaugurated at 9 am. with the desk message of the honourable Principal and will be concluded at 10 am.
Faculty members & staff members are cordially invited to join the programme and the arrival time for them is 8: 30 am. It is mandatory to join virtually for everyone. The link for participation will be shared shortly in the same group. 
2. All ( in case of physical presence in the school ) must wear masks and following the protocols of Covid 19
3. Keep sanitizer bottle of 80 ml.with you in case of physical presence in the school.
4. Please bring your own yoga mat, durrie or folded blanket for yogic practice.
5. Male teachers are requested to wear light and comfortable cotton clothes, ie,track suit ; similarly lady teachers are requested to wear salwar suit only.
During  The  Practice
Practice Sessions will be started with a prayer or an invocation as it creates a conducive environment to relax the mind.
Yogic practices shall be performed slowly, in a relaxed manner, with awareness of the body and breath.
Don't hold the breath unless it is specially mentioned to do so during the practice.
Don't hold the body tightly ,or jerk the body at any point of time.
Yoga session will end with meditation/ deep silence/ Shanti path.
After practice
Bath may be taken only after 20-30 minutes of practice.
Food may be consumed only after 20-30 minutes of practice.
N.B  The whole session will be recorded so keep your video on during the session.

News for Yoga Day Celebration-2021

DAV,PGC Biharsharif observing the 7th International Day of Yoga in its Co Curricular Activity.
DAV PGC, Biharsharif with its staff members along with  the students celebrates the 7th International Day of yoga on 21st June, 2021 with a great deal of zeal under the keen observation of CCA inchargeThe programme was  inaugurated at 9 am. with the kindling of inaugural lamp under the gracious presence of chief guest  Neeraj Singh,DGM  
While on  the arrival of the Chief Guest he was greeted and  welcomed by the DAV family according to the Vedic culture with tilak ceremony. 
In his welcoming addressing  message Principal  Shree P.C.Das  throws light upon the importance of yoga that yoga  brings together physical and mental disciplines to achieve a peaceful body and mind .It rather helps manage stress and anxiety and keeps you relaxing. 
On the other hand in the blessing speech of the chief guest he adds that It also helps in increasing flexibility, muscle strength and body tone. It improves respiration, energy and vitality. 
There was an Online Yoga Workshops too that was made open to all, for parents, teachers & students was organized under the guidance of PETs ,Mr. S. K. Upadhayay Mr. S. K. Mondol. On 21 of June cordially invited faculty members & staff members were there to join the yoga session programme under the strict protocols of Covid 19.Following covid norms  few members were present wearing masks, keeping sanitizer bottle and own yoga mat with themselves. Under the benign presence of chief guest the programme was  concluded at 10 am.
Due to the covid pandemic situation, it was being celebrated virtually in which students, parents, teachers actively participated following all requisite covid guide lines and norms being at there home.
On the occasion of yoga day following online events as the yoga theme based  Poster Competition, Online Quiz Competition on Yoga  for class VI-VIII were also organized under the able guidance of Govind Jee Tiwari Tanushree Chaudhary, C.C.A. Incharge, Sanjay Suman ,Byas Nandan and Sarvesh Kumar Quiz composer in which students participated in a great number of. The winners of this competition were  given certificates  as the prior practices of school.
